Challenge
As a retailer Elgiganten struggles with fierce competition, especially when it comes to gaming gear.
Gamers tend to find their products online from the cheapest retailer. In other words, gamers are some of the most disloyal buyers on the market. On top of that Elgiganten found it (almost) impossible to reach gamers with their gaming products on offer.
Solution
We created a gaming concept for Elgiganten, including a series of native content that showcases gaming gear offers in ways even gamers enjoy consuming.
Allying with some of the most popular gaming influencers and packing the content with funny and useful information for gamers, Elgiganten’s distributors now have a window to showcase their products, while Elgiganten keep the gaming segment entertained:

The 1337 Giveaway
It is very important for Elgiganten to meet their core target audience and creating fond memories while doing so. By being present and hosting several events during the Gamebox Festival they had magnificent chance to make their marks in the attendees’ experience. Not only did we create fond memories for the attending gamers, but we also created a show that put their distributers in the high seat, by making a huge giveaway spree. We called it the 1337 giveaway.
Time spend with brand is everything at gaming events. Elgiganten and us made sure there was a lot of talk about everything we did at the venue. Huge giveaways, show on the big stage, shooting our monthly youtube show inside the event and making sure the influencers could meet the guest where all pillars in the activation.
